Being a teacher involves fostering a love of learning in our students. This cannot be accomplished without a love of learning for ourselves. Growing up, I wasn't very talented at sports, but I was very good at learning. Acquiring new knowledge and looking at the world through a multitude of lenses are luxuries that many around the world are denied. I'm thankful for learning, and thankful that I can help others learn.
